About the role

We are seeking a visionary New Business Director to play a crucial part within our Business Team and help us through a growth phase with finding potential and prospecting new business opportunities, using their wide network of contacts to qualify opportunities and build new relationships with clients. This position will play an integral role in Apegroup’s future direction and ultimate success.

The ideal candidate as New Business Director comes from a digital or management consultant background, and loves the high pace and ever-changing nature of this space. You are entrepreneurial, self-motivated and organized with excellent selling, and communication skills. You also have a proven track record of building and developing successful client relationships. You report directly to the head of Business Design and Client Services and play an integral role in marketing Apegroup and acquiring new clients. You’re passionate about sales, design and tech. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, qualify, and overall manage potential client opportunities.
  • Manage and achieve quarterly and annual sales revenue goals.
  • Create opportunities and close deals that result in new businesses for Apegroup.
  • Work directly with the Business, Design and Tech Teams to build knowledge about agency capabilities and positioning so that outreach efforts can be adjusted to better align with potential clients.

Skills and Requirements

  • Persuasive, winsome, persistent, relentless self-starter motivated by challenge and change.
  • Customer relationship building skills, with developed local/regional relationships.
  • First hand experience working in a team to bring new clients into a company.
  • Able to communicate complex ideas, anticipate potential objections and persuades others, to adopt a different point of view.
  • Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken is a must.
  • Proven public speaking skills, with experience presenting to small and large groups.
